JESCO EXPERT AGENT
Representative Director Mitsuko Karasawa
The JESCO Group has expanded its electrical equipment work business in both Japan and Vietnam. JESCO EXPERT AGENT, which primarily conducts fee-charging employment placement business, was established last year when we celebrated the 50 year anniversary of the Group.
Because Japan’s labor force is shrinking due to the declining birthrate and aging population, the domestic electrical and telecommunications equipment work industry is struggling with chronic worker shortages, which is particularly true for medium-sized and small enterprises that find it difficult to hire workers.
In response to this problem, JEA discovers outstanding young men and women from a wide range of Asian countries who possess specialization and a strong desire to work, particularly highly-skilled non-Japanese technicians, mainly Vietnamese, and sends them to Japanese companies as excellent highly-skilled workers by encouraging them to learn Japanese and acquire certification.
In collaboration with the Vietnamese government-operated sending organization Tocontap, we are moving forward with providing Vietnamese with instruction related to Japanese language and acquiring Japanese electrician certification. In Japan, we are preparing to introduce electrician certification courses in collaboration with major Japanese language schools. In partnership with Seibu Shinkin Bank, we are also striving to introduce outstanding people to help resolve the wide range of hiring problems faced by medium-sized and small enterprises.
