Through our energy-related businesses, we contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society.

Japan has set a goal in its "Basic Energy Plan" to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 46% by 2030. Achieving this target is impossible without renewable energy, and among these, solar power, which is relatively easy to install, has gained significant attention. Its demand continues to accelerate rapidly.
Since entering the solar power generation equipment market in 2000, we have accumulated construction technology and know-how. In 2023, we formed a partnership with J&T Environmental, a member of the JFE Group, and have built a system that enables us to consistently provide services from the design and construction of solar power facilities to O&M (operation and maintenance) and the recycling of solar panels.

Recycling Chain through Partnership with J&T Recycling Corporation Solar power generation is expected to produce a large amount of "discarded panels" exceeding their service life (20 to 30 years), and the disposal of these panels has become a pressing issue.
The occurrence of "discarded panels" due to natural disasters has already become a social problem. In response, the JESCO Group has partnered with J&T Recycling Corporation and is committed to realizing a circular society through the recycling of solar panels.

The electricity generated by high-output power plants is stepped up to high voltage to minimize transmission losses and is transmitted through high-voltage transmission lines (long-distance AC transmission).
Since starting its substation and transmission business in 1955, the JESCO Group has developed advanced technology and a strong achievement in high-voltage substation and transmission. As a result, we have earned the trust of electric power companies and power generation operators in large-scale solar power plants (mega-solar).
The reliable technology accumulated over many years continues to contribute to the promotion of renewable energy.

Construction Achievements
The transmission and substation technologies developed by the JESCO Group, along with a cumulative construction record of over 400MW, provide a one-stop solution for projects ranging from mega solar power plants to private solar power plant construction.
The cumulative construction record of solar power generation facilities by the JESCO Group, which began in 2000, is expected to reach 400MW by 2023.
●Construction of Mega-Solar Power Plants
We have extensive experience in designing and constructing special high-voltage mega-solar power plants. With expertise extending to substation and power transmission systems, we provide one-stop solutions for customers considering power generation projects.
●Private Solar Power Generation Systems
As the shift toward renewable energy accelerates in municipalities and businesses aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050, private solar power systems installed on rooftops of public facilities, factories, warehouses, and carports are rapidly expanding. Leveraging our extensive expertise and network, we cater to diverse needs for solar power generation facilities.
Substation and power transmission systems are essential for output control in newly constructed solar power plants. To ensure safer and more reliable renewable energy generation, we utilize our accumulated construction expertise to meet a wide range of customer requirements.
●Substation-Related Construction
Electricity generated is converted to high voltage at substations to minimize transmission losses before being distributed. We have extensive experience in substation construction, which plays a vital role in supporting stable power infrastructure and numerous mega-solar power plants.
●High-Voltage Transmission Line Construction
The growing demand for renewable energy is increasing the load on existing transmission lines. JESCO Group's expertise is at the forefront of meeting this demand. We excel in upgrading and installing high-voltage transmission lines and transmission towers, showcasing our advanced technical skills.
